Sláinte

Sláinte is an independent Irish coffee shop with locations in Oranmore and Athlone, built around a simple idea — good coffee, good people and giving back.

Community is at the heart of what we do. We support local charities, clubs, fundraisers and community initiatives through events, sponsorships, donations and plenty of smaller acts of support that happen quietly in the background. From local sports teams and community groups to charity fundraisers and special events, we believe that even small contributions can make a meaningful difference.

We believe that if a community supports your business, you should do your best to support that community in return. That philosophy shapes many of the decisions we make and reflects the values that have helped Sláinte grow. We are proud to work alongside local organisations and individuals who are making a positive impact in the places we call home.

For us, it’s about being part of the community, not simply trading in it. We want our coffee shops to be welcoming spaces where people can meet, connect and feel part of something bigger. Whether it’s supporting a local fundraiser, sponsoring a community event or simply providing a friendly place to catch up with friends over a coffee, we are committed to playing our part.

As an Irish-owned business, we understand the importance of strong local connections and the role that small businesses can play in helping communities thrive. Every cup of coffee served is part of a bigger story — one that is built on relationships, support and a genuine commitment to giving back.

At Sláinte, community isn’t just something we talk about; it’s part of who we are.
