DPD Ireland established itself in 1986 with 10 depots and a central hub based in Athlone. Since then, it has grown to become Ireland’s largest dedicated parcel delivery company, managing 35 depots throughout the country and handling in excess of 20 million parcels per year.

Recognized as one of the key innovators within the parcel delivery field, DPD’s technological developments, such as real-time online track and trace and the DPD Ireland App, have completely revolutionized parcel delivery processes.

DPD attained ISO quality accreditation in 1995 and has consistently maintained the standard since, holding ISO9001 certification across its hub and thirty-seven depot network.
